I hung out at a parking garage for two hours and took pictures of birds.

The woman at CVS who developed these seemed attracted to me.

It must have be my obviously wild lifestyle.

Sola Viewfinder-a

Sometimes I need a little more direction than just, "shoot more" to be inspired, so I gave myself a challenge.

I drove to a different city, parked, and walked around for two hours shooting whatever I saw. I had the screen on my camera turned off, limiting myself to just the viewfinder to prefect exposure. Also, I only allowed myself one shot per subject.

It was really, really hard, but I learned a lot. And I should shoot more.

Friday night: I'm reading in bed with my headlamp when I get an idea: long exposures using only flashes from the red and white LED lights in my headlamp.

The room was completely dark except for the light I manually splashed across the frame. Shutter speed ranged from 10-20 seconds, for several of these I was able to drop the ISO to just 200. These pictures have not been edited in anyway aside from resizing. Cheers!
